Wow.. that's interesting... the liberation strengthened my case of the moral superiority of the USA.

And to answer your question, I would welcome with open arms any donation that Russia wanted to make in Mexico as long as it was to PAN. Smiley

Domestic Policy yes.  Foreign Policy no.  I came to this conclusion after nine years of debate with a Russian collegue of my.  The invasion of Iraq destroyed any case I had of a moral superiority of the USA over USSR/Russia.

So you do not see any moral difference between the USA and Russia?

Hmm.  So I guess you disagree with the GOP Congress when it looked into donations from the Peoples Republic of China and the Peoples Liberation Army into the DNC and Bill Clinton reelection campaign through a Chinese businessman in Indonesia.  I think the amounts there were just a few million dollars, nowhere close to the $60 million the USA pumped into Ukraine through various channels.

Out of the PRI PAN and PRD, I also prefer the PAN although I suspect the PRI will win in 2006 as long as it stays united.

Favorite is the Union of Right Forces, but Yabloko has better infrastructure- in fact the to blocs ought to merge. Rodina basically IS United Russia, just under a different name to steal whatever's left of Zyuganov's thunder. The Reds (Zyuganov's Commies and Agrarians) and Red-Browns (Zhirinovskii's right-wing pals) would be terrifying if they still had a chance at power, but now they're just sort of sad, and the LibDems generally vote ith Putin, the Commies being the only meaningless resistance.

Actually, Putin does need Rodina and some other party to get a majority in parliament. As far as I know Rodina is controlled by Putin and designed to lure COmmunist voters into suporting Putin loyalists.

Yabloko would be my choice, though I might vote for the Communists for the same reasons as BRTD. Liberal Democrats and their leader Mad Vlad are actually part of the Putin camp too, most of the time at least.

Putin is quite good, though of course Zhirinovsky is as well.

Putin is brilliant. Inherited a horrible situation, but he's done pretty good work.

I cannot believe that five people have voted for the Lib Dems!!
Sad

I don't think Putin is brilliant. I did have a lot more of respect for him before, but now, the economic reforms are stalled, he seems to be just substituting the private mafia for a state mafia and his intrusion in Ukraine and suppport for the dictator of Belarus have showed that he lacks a lot of judgement.
