Thank Your God the FCC hasn't gotten their claws into basic cable yet.  FoxNews can legally drop the F-bomb whenever they want, they only have to answer to their viewers and advertisers.  I can understand why they don't want to do air profanity.

What I can't understand is why, say, Adult Swim refuses to allow profanity on their network at 1 in the morning.  Comedy Central has allowed late night swearing for years.  AMC will even show boobies in a movie that has boobies if it's on in the middle of the night.  FX and Comedy Central drop "lesser" swear words in prime time all the time.  But you'll never hear a guy on the 3am Sportscenter say "Holy sh**t that was one hell of a dunk!".  That's how people talk.

On a similar note, did anybody catch the boy from Bob's Burgers say "beef curtains"....twice?

Maybe, but I'm guessing if you're a middle schooler and awake at 1am, you've probably heard any swear word they would likely air in an episode of Metalacolypse.  The only people that care about profanity are the old and the overly protective of their (and everybody else's) children.  And I say, Eff 'em both.
