Very surprised to learn that at one point in November, Huntsman was "within hours of dropping out of the Republican race and running as an independent."

I went and bought this an hour or so ago and just finished reading it.  The book is an interesting look inside the  campaigns, chock full of anecdotes.  However, a lot of the information is stuff we political junkies already know; in fact, I think some events were misrepresented and other things left out.  Additionally, the organization of the book is bizarre; it feels like little to no editing was done on it.  Still, you might as well read it; it's only $3.
