Moderates/Liberals make up 38% of the Wisconsin GOP electorate? Uh...wow.

Not just the GOP of Scott Walker, Paul Ryan and Sean Duffy but also the GOP of Tommy Thompson and Scott McCallum. But like you, I'm surprised at how many libs/mods there are.

CNN calls Maryland for Romney. No projection for DC.

Looks like there was no exit poll done in DC, so they have nothing to project with.

Hopefully Paul beats Gingrich. That's the only interesting thing to watch there.

Couldn't they have asked the 7 GOP voters in DC?

I just say the CNN exit polls.  Romney just tied Santorum with the under $50 K crowd.

Maryland SBOE site is here.

Early vote is already counted, Romney won that 54-26. Only about 26,000 votes, though.

Edit: Also it has the CD breakdown.

Maryland exit poll shows enormous variations with age.  Santorum actually won voters under 45, while Romney beats him 61%-20% among voters over 65.

Also, problems with vote counting machines reading in the absentee ballots in Milwaukee County, WI:

Seems a coin flip on if Mittens got over 50% or not.

Which matters greatly to me as if he's over 50 I get an extra point! :-D

What's Talbot County, Maryland, like?  60% McCain and 66%-18% Romney so far.

Not a part of the Shore I'm too familiar with, but it's got Saint Michaels, which has become a popular spot for rich people's vacation homes (Dick Cheney and Chris Shays among them). Also probably some recent exurban spillover from the Baltimore/Annapolis area.

So far, Mittens is winning all the CD's in MD.  The closest is 18 points.

By the way, why DC is so democratic?

How long could it possibly take in DC to count these 17 or so votes in the GOP primary ?

In a word, demographics.
