In the Republican presidential primary, with the nomination virtually a foregone conclusion for Romney, Rick Santorum leads Romney 27-26% among the Republicans surveyed. Ron Paul and Newt Gingrich stood at 6% each and 35% were undecided.

The Indiana Senate/presidential polls are legitimately surprising. I would have predicted healthy leads for Lugar and Mittens, respectively.

This looks right to me, both the Senate and Presidential numbers.

There's been no activity here for the Presidential race - I haven't seen an ad yet (then again, I don't watch much local TV).

There is a strong undercurrent of Evangelicals and very conservative Republicans.  It was one of those May states where Santorum was suppose to be reasonably strong.  There was a different poll a few weeks ago that showed him with a healthy lead (though the poll was questionable).
