Greetings, people of Atlasia. Long time no see Smiley

Some of you may remember that I once served in the Senate around here. The people of my region, the Mideast, had enough faith in me to entrust me with the awesome privilege of getting to serve in the Senate on their behalf. I was honored, and to show my gratitude, I should have put everything in me into serving the people of my region. Instead, I let my personal life get in the way, and I was forced out of the Senate due to a lack of activity (and rightfully so). I was so embarrassed that I stopped posting on the forum entirely. However, one does not just "leave" the Atlas Forum, and I eventually found myself longing to return. But before I do, I feel that I must apologize to all those who were hurt by my actions (or lack thereof). To my friends, to those that served with me in the Senate, to the people of the Mideast: I am sorry. I hope that you will forgive me.

I remember you when we were both members and friends within the RPP. Don't worry, we understand, and especially I understand, how personal problems take precedent over events here. We've had many people disappear due to inactivity, and so long as it doesn't happen again, I think we can all be happy you're back. Smiley

We all have to find a way to balance our Atlasian and our real lives. Sometimes a break is good.

Welcome back.

An official "welcome back"! You were a great Atlasian and I think everyone understands that real-life events are more important than this game. Should you ever decide to return, I would be very glad.

He was also a member of my wing of the RPP. What good times. Always nice to see old faces return, even if it took a few years. Cheesy

While I wasn't around to see your political career, I've heard great things about you. When a person gets praise from everyone from ZuWo to Napoleon, one knows they are special.

The Mideast would love you back BTW.

Proof:
Another thing that is missing since I left the Senate, is the sort of collaboration we used to have. I remember reaching across the aisle to RPP Senator MOPolitico to push for a sweeping healthcare reform bill when we learned that the system was about to fail, and that bill eventually became law after generating one of the healthiest debates the Senate has seen in recent memory.

Ha! Well, you can take comfort in knowing that I don't plan on running for Senate any time soon! Wink

I remember collaborating with you on that bill! Those were good times.
