Background: The party system is making it's first appearance, though the Democratic-Republicans are largely running for Vice-President against the popular Washington. (Note that you can cast two votes as per pre-12th Amendment rules.)

Chatter on the thread is encouraged. Smiley

I'll run this one until Wednesday, since people probably won't be on much this weekend. Happy Easter/Passover!

Last day -- Jefferson is still poised to win an upset by one vote. (The libertarians, I guess?) If you have friends to recruit to this vote, now's the time.
