Their final poll in 2008 (Oct 26-28) had Obama leading McCain, 50-38 [won it 57-41], while their final poll in 2004 had Kerry leading Bush, 49-43 [won it 51-48]

Of course, according to exit polls, D-partisan advantage was +12 (41-29) in 2008 compared with +5 (39-34) in 2004
