he's a pragmatist, but also very committed to protecting the privileged access of groups to wealth and power: whites, men, by class, and so on.

Young Tweed is pretty difficult as he ranged at times from a constine-esque Moderate Hero to a Marxist-Leninist. Are you referring to the median, the Daily Kos-style hack liberal Tweed?

I don't even consider him conservative, to be honest. He's certainly not socially conservative.

Spade used to be a conservative, today he doesn't really have an ideology beyond claiming that he already knew that things that already happened were going to happen and thus policies in the run up to them were bad.

What puts me to the right of Sam and Torie?

Torie voted for Obama. I doubt he'd vote Republican in the 2006 Minnesota Senate race either.

As I noted above Sam doesn't really have an ideology anymore.

I don't know what's the wierdest bit about this:

1-Alcon being the second most left even though he's a dedicated Moderate Hero who kept insisting in 2008 he was going to vote for McCain even though basically not a single person believed him.
2-Tweed being to the right of Gustaf, unless you're thinking only of the constine-esque one and ignoring him as a Marxist-Leninist.
3-opebo being the most right wing.

Eh, ok. Then again, Torie is supporting Romney now whereas I'm leaning clearly towards Obama. So I fail to see your logic. Your obsession with the 2006 MN race is creepy. I generally support Democratic candidates, as you well know, since we've been over this before.

Yes but you supported a far right wing Republican with absolutely no crossover appeal or appeal to swing voters who was absolutely destroyed and won basically only the GOP base. That would define you as a GOP base voter. That's like someone insisting that they're a Republican who would've voted for Mondale in '84.

BRTD, I did this based on personality and not just rhetoric.  Opebo is clearly a fascist.
I think Alcon is more left in his sensibilities than many of the so called leftists.  Tweed is a chameleon and could turn tomorrow. Gustaf I see as the middle.

I fail to see how someone who refers to their homeland as "The Bad Place" would be sufficiently nationalistic to be fascist.

Ok? So the fact that I supported the 2006 Dem Gubernatorial candidate in Georgia, who got destroyed by the same margin as your cherished Kennedy then proves that I'm also a Democratic base voter, I suppose? Amazing! I'm both a Democratic AND a Republican base voter simultaneously. Actually, to follow your example, I'd have supported McGovern in 1972. Man, that makes SO much of a Democrat I should probably be even further left on the list.

Or you fail logic. Again.

Don't really know Young Tweed or Alcon. And is Ben really that right-wing? He seems like a leftie to me, admittedly one that's pretty hawkish.
