Thompson is still the safest bet.

This poll gives WI Republican Primary voters the opportunity to select Neumann or Thompson. Since Neumann and Thompson are both each in a statistical tie general election matchup against likely Democratic Nominee Baldwin-D according to a Democratic poll.
But if the general election matchup is between Baldwin-D vs Thompson-R. The 2012 WI US Senate race will be a statistical tie like MA(Brown-R vs Warren-D) and NV(Heller-R vs Berkley-D).
(Baldwin-D vs Thompson-R)- Baldwin-D has to remind voters that Thompson-R is going to rubberstamp McConnell-R. (Baldwin-D vs Neumann-R)- Neumann-R shares the same ideology as a Scott Walker and Paul Ryan.
