Why does it already list him as having a running mate?

If Romney indeed picks Christie as his VP then this will be the first time we'd have two all-northern tickets since 1920.

Hopefully we can have that more often.

A perfect ticket if that is what Romney decides.

Which is what you were planning on doing the entire time anyway.

Um, no, I've never campaigned for anyone and am just voicing my frustrating at the notion of an arrogant blowhard being our vp nominee. I would not vote for Obama.

Are you sure you do understand what "TBD" mean?

Somebody on Wikipedia had changed it to say Chris Christie. It just got reverted, I think.

And now it gets flipped back to the electoral map. Why can't they put Obama's box up at least- he's clinched his nomination.

Unless he was counting Delaware as a southern state.  After all, it was a slave state, as Joe Biden once awkwardly reminded us.

If we're defining "Northern" as "not Southern" (and MD/DE aren't Southern), then 2008 is the most recent all-Northern year, if we define it as the contiguous union states during the Civil War, then it's 1972.  Either way, Px is wrong.

South Dakota didn't enter the Union until 1889, and Maryland (Shriver/Agnew) was a neutral state under Union occupation. Nixon was from California, which was a Union state but not contiguous.

Who defines "Northern" as "not Southern?"  McCain (and Nixon) are pretty clearly Westerners, not Northerners.
