I am running for re-election to the Senate... I believe I have been an active Senator and have engaged in productive debate. Ive sponsored legislation- even when I do not agree with it because I believe ideas deserve debate

My question: In the current situation of the game (problems with activity especially at the regional level), what is your opinion on term limits for Assemblymembers/Senators in Atlasia?

ZuWo- thank you... I am for term limits in real life but against them in the Atlasia...it has been a great loss to see experienced and respected Senators leave suddenly- created a helluva vacuum. Having longtime leaders stay such as NC Yankee has been a real boon to the Fantasy elections and term limits would prevent that

Platform- I could give a whole spectrum here but will let you know about a few issues and feel free to ask me about anything missing...

National Broadcaster Act- I believe this is the height of bad government. A tax increase for a non-necessary bureaucracy- something which I don't even believe the govt should be involved in. I contend that if this were real politics, those who supported that bill would be thrown out of office in a recall election. I hope the content of the Senate changes a bit- if it gets slightly more right I will propose a repeal bill

Taxes- 9-9-9 actaully was close to my beliefs. I believe a sales tax is a great way to tax consumption rather then hard work and I would want to exempt food, medicine, gasoline, etc from sales tax.

DOJ Overreach- My bill has not yet reached the Senate floor yet but I am waiting... I am nervous about the Obama DOJ overruling state or municipal actions and want to prevent our DOJ from doing so. I voted against the ATtorney General's confirmation for this reason

Military- I will be working on a restructuring bill which will match what I believe could be the vision for the US military if cuts came to be... my goal is to reduce duplicity between the branches...having aviators in all four branches to me seems redundant

Term Limits- I do not support term limits here. If some one overstays their wlcome, the voters can throw them out. But we don't have enough folks here to be able to do that by law

THANK YOU!!!!!!! Thank you for this victory... I am grateful to all of you who voted for me, to those who put me on their list, and those of you who simply considered voting for me. I will continue to be an active Senator and a voice for our values.

I congratulate AndrewPA, wormyguy, Seatown, and my  friend TJ for their victories tonight.... I also congratulate Snowstalker on a close contest. To those of you who may not like Pingvin's views- I congratulate him as should all of you on running a passionate campaign based upon his beliefs for what our country needs... I commend my friend Pingvin for his time in the Senate

Looking forward- we have work to do and I am ready to get to work but first a personal note- I am blessed to have found this web community...I don't have all that much going on to fill my days and this keeps me entertained and more importantly- keeps me typing and reading and working my ever-shrinking mind. I know I am a bit older then many of you and with that my views on things may be a bit different- but so many of you have welcomed me with open arms and I am very honored

Thank you Nathan- no offense was taken...I have always found you to be very reasonable and I have enjoyed every conversation I have had with you even when we are coming at it from very different poitns of view...I look forward to continuing that in the months to come
