Hello all,

I've decided to once again throw myself into contention for Atlasia's Presidency.  This campaign, which will take shape in the coming days, will once again focus on activity and foreign policy.

Any questions?

Ben- I can't say that I will put you as #1 but I believe you have done an excellent job as Secretary of External Affairs- I'm sure the conversations about foreign policy will be very interesting and you will definitely be up there on my ballot

Good luck! Maybe Atlasia will not repeat the same mistake and finally elect a Mideastern President again. Wink

As my slogan makes clear, I am running on the dual themes of activity and foreign policy.  I firmly believe that foreign policy can be an important part of Atlasia, if the President is willing to emphasize it.  As President, I will emphasize foreign policy, and try and use the Presidency to achieve what a lowly SoEA cannot: make the damn Senate pay attention Wink

You still need to learn a lot, my friend. Eating babies makes your hair look very good.

Heck, without eating babies, I'd be bald now.

Just for the record, my ticket does not endorse eating baby humans.  Baby cows are okay.

If I suck up to you can I get a cushy foreign policy job where my aides do all the work, I get all the credit, and somehow my experience is increased, launching me into the national spotlight and making me a contender for the top spot four to eight months from now?

It depends on how much you suck up to me; while I enjoy flattery, I do want to make sure competent people get appointed.

Ladies and Gentleman, I have a Vice President!  He has served Atlasia for years, and I believe that The People will find him more than suitable!

My friends, I have chosen Duke to be my running mate!

Thank you, Ben, for your kind words.

Friends, I decided to latch myself onto Ben after my former runningmate and People favorite Cincinnatus did the same with Oakvale. The People want change. The People want leadership in this election. Throughout my time in public office, I have watched Ben with a keen eye do good work, stay dedicated to his job, and always put forth 100% when he is given a task to do. Far too often in today's modern Atlasia, we see people elected based on how "nice" they are only to disappear from the game and subsequently resign from office. This disease has plagued modern Atlasia since myself and The People left the game, and I return to you all, resurrected and sure, to say enough is enough!

I chose to join Ben because I know he will take office and serve his full term. My friends will ask me, but, won't all the candidates in the race take office? Yes, but that is not the point. Ben has stuck around and done his job to the best of his ability while The People watched in horror as the Senate because a revolving door just like a strip club. One minute we'd have one senator and the next we'd have another in his place.

I ran for co-president with my lover Andrew last election on the theme of consistency and love, and I am proud to announce that theme is back.  Atlasia needs consistent, visible leaders that inspire The People and give them hope of a better future. A future that will promote growth in the game, not drive people further away. My friends, a vote for Ben is a vote for me. Remember that! Together, we will inject life into every rump and hiney in this game and return it to its former glory, hand in hand with The People of Atlasia!

Thank you all, and here's too a good race!

I will not be answering any questions at this time. Please check back for an announcement of the return of question time, coming to a computer screen near you.

Ladies and Gentleman,

It has always been a dream of mine to serve as a Senator.  Because I desire to continue serving in the Senate, I have decided to drop out of the Presidential race.  I thank you all for your support, and I thank Duke for agreeing to run with me.

That is all Smiley

I'm sad to see you go, Ben, but I'm glad you've fulfilled a dream of yours, and I know you'll serve admirably in the Senate. Smiley

The Presidential field is worse off without you, as is the Department of External Affairs, but congratulations - I hope you enjoy your time as Senator.
