Since you're currently in the region I'm a citizen of, I've got one question specifically about you and the Mideast: Why did you leave the NE and register as a citizen in the ME? (that's positive because we need new active citizens)?

I wanted a change of scenery. The Northeast will always be in my heart, but the Mideast is a great region and I wanted to help out there. I'm still running for assembly in May Tongue

May? Didn't you say July in the Candidate Declaration Thread? Wink

Edit: My mistake, your last post in the Candidate Declaration Thread does indeed say May.

SoIA 20RP12 will speak to a crowd of about 900 supporters in Chicago, IL at 9 AM central time.

Talking points:

--Create a bi-partisan atmosphere to revive Atlasia.

--Refusal to tolerate "lone wolf" attitude--either you're with Atlasia, or you're against us.

--Allow every citizen to be heard, no one is unimportant.

--Have a bi-weekly town hall meeting in which citizens can ask President 20RP12 any question(s) they might have.

--Trumpet choice of Windis, Atlasian left-wing and libertarian icon, as VP to balance 20RP12's conservative-leaning libertarian views.

Finally decided to make up my mind on this stuff...

Despite my respect for Ben's foreign policy experience... Despite my ideological/PM-score alignment with Napoleon and Oakvale... Despite how much I think Clarence would do very well as a President... Despite my desire to vote for Tweed just to see what happens... Endorsed.

As for second/third preferences, I've got no idea there. Lean Napoleon is probably the best categorization.

Whistlestop tour launched by IDS Legislator SJoyceFla on behalf of 20RP12/Windis for President campaign. The tour will take place over the coming week, with expected crowds somewhere around 3-500 a stop. Speeches on the stops will discuss 20RP12's enthusiasm for game reform and plans for greater citizenry involvement/activity, as well as proposals centered around transparency and multipartisanship (as evidenced by Veep choice, cabinet position promises, record in Assembly and Senate), including proposals for a biweekly town hall meeting. As will how Napoleon is an excellent second preference. Foreign policy will also play a central role in such speeches, as they are being given by me.

5/19: Orlampa Events (I'd recommend these to be held @ the Orange County Convention Center and either the Tampa Convention Center or Tropicana Field (pictured at right))

After Orlampa events, I'll probably campaign some more in FL and then head back to NC to campaign more there, then Tennessee and Kentucky (including the 4 events scheduled there).

Major events are just like campaign stops; all others are maybe an hour of speeching and Q&Aing. Transport shall be via a Zeppelin NT emblazoned with the campaign logo, which goes faster than buses and avoids traffic.

"Imagine.. the mainstream media is mesmerized as the image of the 20RP12 zeppelin is shown to tens of millions of Atlasians throughout the day (and throughout the campaign). Pingvin (had to think of a media person), stunned and as if in a trance, repeats the words, "Amazing, Amazing". As GPS coordinates stream to the website a map shows the 20RP12 zeppelin's location in real time. The local television stations broadcast its every move. The curious flock together and make a trip to see history in the making. Emails with pictures are sent, then forwarded, then forwarded again. YouTube videos go viral and reach tens of millions of views. 20RP12 becomes the first presidential candidate in history to have his very own blimp. The PR stunt generates millions upon millions of dollars worth in free publicity, and captures the imagination of Atlasia." (Adapted from page on Ron Paul blimp).

In other excellent news, the 20RP12 zeppelin is currently en route from Ireland (it got there from Friedrichshafen) to the Azores; from there it will go on to Wilmington.
