Random thoughts on the schedule: stopping in Tampa instead of Orlando wouldn't really mess up timing much, and with the about 700,000 more people you could draw wouldn't be a bad decision... a Rock Hill stop wouldn't be a bad decision either instead of Columbia... Making the Mississippi stop in Southaven instead of Jackson could boost numbers significantly, and would let you stop in Nashville instead of Memphis... DC stop'd be a good addition... Virginia Beach may be better than Richmond due to approx. 600K more people, but Richmond has the historic value deal + capital status, so really a toss-up… Kansas City but not St. Louis?… Covington might be better than Louisville cause of the additional pull from Cincinnati… Delaware'll be annoyed there's no stop in Wilmington, or anywhere in Delaware, and stops in San Juan and Charlotte Amalie couldn't hurt either...

These are all just suggestions for your campaign to think about. Best of luck!

This should not be construed to represent an endorsement

The election starts on June 14th, so there's not that many days left Tongue

Well most of it's an either-or choice so it wouldn't affect the number of days.

Finally decided to make up my mind on this stuff...

Despite my respect for Ben's foreign policy experience... Despite my ideological/PM-score alignment with Napoleon and Oakvale... Despite how much I think Clarence would do very well as a President... Despite my desire to vote for Tweed just to see what happens... Endorsed.

As for second/third preferences, I've got no idea there. Lean Napoleon is probably the best categorization.

Whistlestop tour launched by IDS Legislator SJoyceFla on behalf of 20RP12/Windis for President campaign. The tour will take place over the coming week, with expected crowds somewhere around 3-500 a stop. Speeches on the stops will discuss 20RP12's enthusiasm for game reform and plans for greater citizenry involvement/activity, as well as proposals centered around transparency and multipartisanship (as evidenced by Veep choice, cabinet position promises, record in Assembly and Senate), including proposals for a biweekly town hall meeting. As will how Napoleon is an excellent second preference. Foreign policy will also play a central role in such speeches, as they are being given by me.

5/19: Orlampa Events (I'd recommend these to be held @ the Orange County Convention Center and either the Tampa Convention Center or Tropicana Field (pictured at right))

After Orlampa events, I'll probably campaign some more in FL and then head back to NC to campaign more there, then Tennessee and Kentucky (including the 4 events scheduled there).

Major events are just like campaign stops; all others are maybe an hour of speeching and Q&Aing. Transport shall be via a Zeppelin NT emblazoned with the campaign logo, which goes faster than buses and avoids traffic.

"Imagine.. the mainstream media is mesmerized as the image of the 20RP12 zeppelin is shown to tens of millions of Atlasians throughout the day (and throughout the campaign). Pingvin (had to think of a media person), stunned and as if in a trance, repeats the words, "Amazing, Amazing". As GPS coordinates stream to the website a map shows the 20RP12 zeppelin's location in real time. The local television stations broadcast its every move. The curious flock together and make a trip to see history in the making. Emails with pictures are sent, then forwarded, then forwarded again. YouTube videos go viral and reach tens of millions of views. 20RP12 becomes the first presidential candidate in history to have his very own blimp. The PR stunt generates millions upon millions of dollars worth in free publicity, and captures the imagination of Atlasia." (Adapted from page on Ron Paul blimp).

I want to say that even though I did not earn sjoycefla's endorsement- I commend you for your activity in helping the candidate you support and I congratulate 20RP12 on getting a new member involved

You're probably at least my 3rd preference though Clarence, and thanks.

In other excellent news, the 20RP12 zeppelin is currently en route from Ireland (it got there from Friedrichshafen) to the Azores; from there it will go on to Wilmington.

This is so rad. I have my own f**king blimp.

No you don't. I acquired a dirigible/zeppelin, not a blimp (a zeppelin/dirigible has a rigid metal outer skeleton, meaning it can travel further, higher, and in worse weather than a blimp, which is just a shaped balloon with fins and a propeller. It also means that it's easier to use for strategic bombing over 1915 London.). The difference is that dirigibles are larger and faster and better. If you'd prefer, you have a super-blimp.

Presidentialy-sounding songs (I Won't Back Down, Eye Of The Tiger, Born Free, The Imperial March, Bombs (End This War), Fortunate Son, No Surrender, We The People, and Takin' Care of Business) added; now you can tailor your song choice to whatever area you're touring (I'd think voters in Jackson would like Billy Ray more than Iron Maiden).

The difference is as official campaign manager I can book things. Here's your venues for the next week or so.

Cleveland--Grays Armory
Cincinnati--Dr. Albert B. Sabin Cincinnati Convention Center
Pittsburgh--PNC Park
Philadelphia--Philadelphia Convention Center
NYC--Madison Square Garden
Syracuse--Carrier Dome
Burlington--Spirit of Ethan Allen III
Manchester (changed from Concord)--Radisson Hotel Manchester
Portland (ME)--Merrill Auditorium
Boston--Commonwealth Pier
Providence--Roger Williams Park Casino
Hartford--Hartford Civic Center Coliseum
Trenton--Lafayette Yard Marriott Conference Hall
Newark--Meadowlands Exposition Center

BTW, start expecting larger crowds to fill the various armories, convention centers, baseball fields, football fields, cruise ships, piers, hotels, auditoriums, casinos, etc.

The sun is rising at around 7AM in downtown Wilmington, Delaware, Northeast Region, as IDS Legislator SJoyceFla begins a speech in Rodney Square in the heart of the city. Maybe 250-300 supporters have shown up to see the legislator talk about the promises of the 20RP12 campaign and how they should get out there and see the 20RP12 campaign stop, coming soon to the Bank One Center on the Riverfront, or the Dover Sheraton Conference Center for those of you who commute. He delivers a powerful speech about the promises of an open and transparent government and the activity and multipartisanship that would be under a 20RP12/WinDis administration. All citizens shall be heard and bipartisanship shall be the rule, not the exception. As he concludes this speech, a large white dirigible rises over 1201 Market Street, emblazoned with "VOTE 20RP12/WINDIS" and "RESTORE ATLASIA NOW". The dirigible circles the city, raining fortune cookies down on bystanders (your fortune is that you should vote for 20RP12/WinDis). Thousands leave their office buildings to come to the square as the dirigible alights upon the grass. The speech is repeated to the now-massive crowd from the cockpit of the dirigible as it finally lifts away among the sounds of Billy Ray Cyrus's We The People at about 9 AM, bound for Dover.

I would like to announce my resignation as campaign manager of the 20RP12/WinDis for President campaign.

Why? Sad

Cause I'm applying for being in charge of Freedom PAC, so now all I can do to back the campaign is to use the same pollsters, use the same media firms, have you two solicit money for the PAC, have you two endorse the PAC, have you two appear at PAC events, travel with y'all, advise y'all on policy, continue my whistlestop tour, engage in private conferences with y'all, stand on stage with y'all, work for your corporations, be related to y'all, donate to the campaign, and co-own private islands in New Hampshire with y'all.

The blimp alights and SJoyceFla proceeds to the lawn in front of the Legislative Hall in Dover, Delaware.

"Hello, Delaware! It's great to be here! Y'know what else's great? Not being incinerated in the blink of an eye, or catching a deadly disease, or choking on toxic gases! And that's what I'm here to talk to y'all about. Tomorrow's the first anniversary of the death of Osama bin Laden, and terror remains as potent a threat to our nation as ever. But did you know that all forms of international terrorism aren't illegal under international law? That's how terrorists can get funds, arms, and safe havens. President 20RP12 would stop all that. He'd sign a Comprehensive Convention on International Terrorism, which would mean that international terrorists could be tried for their crimes in front of the entire international community. He'd also sign a treaty cutting off production of fissile material for nuclear bombs, helping keep more bombs from being created, and lowering the chance of them falling into the hands of those who would do Atlasia harm. Best of all, he'd sign an Arms Trade Treaty, meaning that countries who sponsor terrorism will be a whole lot less likely to be able to get their hands on any weapons, conventional or nuclear. Vote for President 20RP12; people may claim he's an isolationist, but in reality, he's tough on terror!"

Massive cheers, crowd loves concept of not dying, blimp leaves.

^Events are about a day behind here; I'll be working on getting em up to date.

Blimp spotted in Baltimore!

"Mornin, Baltimore! Great to see all y'all out to support the 20RP12 campaign, even if it's just me here. So I'm here to talk to you today about prosperity. I can see a lot of industrial buildings, lots of steel buildings, shipbuilders, car builders, and the like. These are the places that were hit hard by a sorta deindustrialization process. I'd like to talk about what the 20RP12 campaign would do to reverse those trends. The way to do that isn't through bailouts, it isn't through stimulus. It's through education. The fact is, candidates don't like to make major changes that'll take longer than their term to implement; if it doesn't help their re-election, it isn't worth doing. It's my belief that 20RP12/WinDis aren't like that. If you vote for them, they'll do things like improving schools and colleges. Those type of things may not have a big immediate impact, but in 5-10 years, when those highly educated, highly knowledgable people begin moving into the workforce, we'll see a real economic boom. There's no reason Silicon Valley needs to be confined to Silicon Valley. Technology firms can flourish across Atlasia, with the help of our world-class universities. 20RP12 and WinDis will fix our economy by cutting taxes on the common man and supporting education and high-tech innovation! Let's fix our nation!"

Blimp leaves.

Y'all do realize what's going on here, right? People are seeing this:

Santa Fe, New Mexico

New Mexico, it is so great to be here today. You know, this is my first political visit out here in the Pacific Region. A great region, of course, it is lovely here. Lots of trees. I like trees.

Anyway, we're all in agreement that Atlasia needs a leader, someone who is courageous enough to do what is right, rather than what is popular. This campaign is about bringing Atlasians together. We recognize the problem, but I see no solutions! We must reject the status quo and embrace the future- and I am not talking about the current administration when I say this. I am talking about our attitude, our approach, our investment in our country. At a time when veteran members are leaving in droves, new members are hesitant to register, and active members aren't as active as before, I've been here trying to make things work. When my region had a political system that was broken and ineffective, I didn't sit on the sideline. I worked with others in my region who saw what I saw and together we fought back. Inactive governor? We can do something about that. Outdated constitution? We did something about that, too.

Now we have problems at the federal level. Since the last presidential election, five Senate seats have been vacated prematurely! That's 50% of the Senate right there! And the Senate debates now, well, let's be honest, they don't come close to the debates we had in the summer and fall of 2011. Even now, the biggest debate in the Senate is a bill I introduced! That's why I have brought in a team that I think can really help energize the politics of this nation. My running-mate Kalwejt is a bold personality with a creative streak that we desparately need for this game, and he has the right attitude about the game: we can work with anyone if we need to.

When I saw the health care reform proposals that were clearly unable to fill the holes in the system, I took action. I reached across the aisle to RPP Senator MOPolitico, who I had absolutely no previous connection with and sat down and we threw ideas back and forth. We had jobs to do, so we did it. We made the tough choices that others might have been afraid to propose, or that might have been unpopular, but now, months later, we're on track to reform health care into a fair and sustainable program that still keeps our nation healthy as ever.

Atlasia has a choice in this election. We can step in to a future where the game is lively and exciting, or we could fade away into permanent decline. This is what we are voting for, and a vote for Napoleon and Kalwejt in June 2012 will lead Atlasia down a new path- a more active, inclusive game where people want to participate in the hottest political and cultural debates of the day. A vote for Napoleon and Kalwejt is a vote for an Atlasian Renaissance. It's easier than it sounds, after all. Wink

Thank you New Mexico. I can't wait to see more of the great Pacific Region as I campaign across the country these next two months.

With this as the rebuttal.

If elected President, I would appoint the following people to the following cabinet positions:

Secretary of Federal Elections: Homelycooking
Registrar General: Homelycooking
Secretary of External Affairs: Sjoycefla
Secretary of Internal Affairs: Napoleon
Attorney General: Fuzzybigfoot
Game Moderator: Shua

These individuals, in my mind, are experts in their respective fields and would be ecstatic about them filling their positions.

x20RP12

Though I don't know if I qualify as an expert yet, I would indeed be ecstatic about filling that job.

My views were bound to transform, as I'm only 15. It's likely I'll end up going through a Hardcore Leftist phase before long.

We actually discussed this on the chat once.  We pretty much all agreed that you'll be a Democrat by the time you're 18. Tongue

I could see him as a Schweitzer-Freudenthal Democrat now.
