I'm taking a pretty important test in the morning and may or may not have studdied enough for it.  I seem to be getting pretty good scores on the practice tests, but everybody that I know that has taken it has said that it's one of the harder tests they've ever taken, so I'm more than a little worried.  So if you're not doing anything tomorrow morning at 9:30 CST, send a couple of good thoughts my way (and if you have ESP, a couple of the answers would be nice).

Security+ Cert if you're curious.

Well your good thoughts and prayers and such were answered and I passed.  That flushing sound you just heard was full of pointless acronyms and procedures.

Thank you for your support.

I ALMOST bought the cheapest bottle of Vodka (Skol, $8/750mL...where did the really cheap sh**t go?  inflation?), but decided against it....the wife still has most of a bottle of some cheap lemon flavored Vodka in the freezer that I may hit a time or two.  After the first three shots (or so) you don't even notice the difference.  (hell, my taste buds don't notice on the first shot)

Best of luck to you!  If you do well, go out and buy yourself some good Scotch though. Wink

Get plenty of sleep (but not too much to eat) before the test.

You'll do fine.

That's the funny (not really) part, the stuff I learned for this certificate has very little to do with my actual job.  We deal with cryptography, and that was on there, but not the equipment/software I deal with.  I don't actually do IT, or at least not what is commonly thought of as "IT".

DRSN (Defense Red Switch Network) is what I do.

I was up all night (working...well, studying actually) and took the test in the morning.  My co-workers thought I was nuts too, but that was the easiest way...or at least I thought so.
