Weird how they have both federal Indian tribe and non federal Indian tribe subgroups.

What's the difference between the 2 ?

Does "federal Indians" stand for Native Americans while "non-federal Indians" stands for immigrants from India ?

Nope, both American Indian. There are some tribes not recognized by the feds. That's what that subgroup must mean. But that is definitely an unusual subgroup  for a poll of 1000 random people nationwide.
