Whats your opinion of early 19th century state rights advocate/extremist John Randolph of Roanoke?
He seems to be an idol for some Libertarians.

Okay, maybe Mike Johnson is a competent parliamentarian.

Fighter for 'freedom' as he understood it. Much easier to like than others cut from the same political cloth. Understood and seemed to care about his constituents, and was an interesting person. Still at the very least a fellow traveler with the Slave Power.

Other. Decidedly mixed.
