I echo the sentiments of the pro-life folks in this. Though section 2 should be totally gone. Plus fathers to be should have some say in the matter. Yet I will say its a step in the right direction.

I am very opposed to the bill and I feel like the amendment made the bill even worse. I don't know why we should restrict a woman's healthcare options. For the most part I agree with the work you are doing in the Senate, but this bill and the Israel treaty in the last Senate session is discouraging.

Should the father's rights also be considered? Yes. You stood on the side of right regarding Israel.

No time tonight to respond because I'm sleepy. I will tomorrow and you should remind me if I forget.

Senator Ben steps to the Rotunda at his beloved University of Virginia to deliver a speech

My fellow Mideasterners,

It is my pleasure to be here today to formally endorse Tmthforu94 for Governor of the Mideast.  Throughout his time in Atlasia Tmth has served with dignity.  I won’t bother repeating the laundry list of his achievements; although they’re available in his campaign thread – be sure to check them out, since they’re quite impressive.  I will simply say that there is no individual I trust more to run our Region than our former Governor, Senator, and President.

Thank you, Dave Bless, and Go Hoos!

First off, congratulations to Tmthforu94 on being reelected as Governor!  I endorsed him, and I'm sure he will do an excellent job.

Now, I am formally launching my reelection campaign!  This thread will serve as Campaign HQ, for any and all questions.  Soon I hope to have a debate with my opponent, but in the interim, please, please, please ask me questions here.

Ben: would you be interested in working to develop a comprehensive infrastructure plan focusing on these five points (below) so that we can further interregional cooperation on infrastructure?

1. Energy
2. Rail/High-speed rail/high-speed bus
3. Protected areas and expansion of our national park system
4. Broader transportation development (air and road development, as well as our current infrastructure maintenance and revenue measures such as infrastructure banks)
5. Water supply

I'd be happy to, but I think this sort of things is best left to the individual Governors, so talk to Tmthforu94 about it.

That's the idea; us regional Senate candidates (and hopefully regional Senators) work on our (federal) end and C.A.R.E. on their (regional) end to create a comprehensive nationwide policy.

I've always been a strong advocate for infrastructure, and will happily continue to work towards improved infrastructure in the Senate.

You've been a very good Senator. The partisan makeup of the region might have made this an interesting race but Jake doesn't seem to be campaigning.

Notice how the Atlasian Right has all but disappeared. That has a lot to do with it. When the Whig Vice-Chair resigns when there's no chairman kinda makes it hard to run a center-right party when the left has complete run of Atlasia and they are fairly united even there is two left wing parties (Liberals and Labor) the Center has two parties (IB and the People's Party).

If the Atlasian Right would have some perserverance, the left would actually show some respect for us. We can have the days of a center-right President again.

Now Atlasia understands why dissolution was an utter failure.

I have been reelected Cheesy  Thanks to everyone who came out to support me, and let's work hard going forward!  I have a piece of legislation in mind which will be introduced in the near future.
