For all the angst they generate, the debate over these voter ID laws is primarily one of symbolism, not substance. At most, they'll affect some 0.1% of the electorate and I doubt that it would be that much.
Same with voter Fraud Laws. I still have yet to see a successful proof of them having effect where the Republican attempting to commit voter fraud does NOT getting arrested or finding an election which would have changed if voter laws were not implemented.
