Despite my personal opposition to gay marriage, I would vote against this amendment as it goes too far.  Also, like Sanchez, I believe that it should be the states deciding the issue -not the Supreme Court.  And in any case, this argument over federalism is moot -the Supreme Court in its current makeup will not legalize gay marriage, even less so if Romney wins the White House along with a Republican Senate.
