sh**t like this is why Congress has the approval ratings it does...we're talking what- $2MM tops? They need to cut the gimmicks...take the returning of office budgets. Those congressmen are given those budgets to hire staff to serve their constituents- giving back $100K won't make a dent in the deficit but could hire more staff to handle constituent services

Stop with the gimmicks Tea Party- focus on the big stuff!

if they actually cut anything their approvals would probably be even lower. why do you think they only talk about spending cuts in the abstract or token cuts like npr or foreign aid to wadiya?

meh....it's not going to solve our collective problem, but a few thousand of things like this might.  It is a stupid waste of money to pay the phone bill of somebody than can afford to pay his phone bill.
