Here's a chart to show you some of the major drugs, Cannabis is in the lower quadrant.

Statistically, alcohol and tobacco is more damaging than marijuana.
Who made this chart?  it's odd that benzos are placed to the right of alcohol, tobacco and 4-MTA.

Also meth is less addictive than alcohol?  I know it's less addictive than it's portrayed as in the media, but that's still pretty surprising.

Methamphetamine isn't on that chart.

Never heard of this drug khat before, but it's to the lower left of pot, and it's banned in the US, too. I guess we wanted to expand the drug war for some reason.

It's a kinda plant people chew or brew as tea (I think) in Somalia-area. Think it's a stimulant, not seriously addictive, mild effects. Pretty sure they use it like coffee. Like 40% of Yemen's agriculture is based on khat.

Keep pot illegal, once it becomes legal the government will just stamp their taxes on it. It's actually one of the last free American enterprises.

I'm not sure I really want the profits going to gangs in lieu of the government, though...

Yeah, me neither. The 'war on drugs' is no doubt responsible for the drug empire and all the crime it creates. I just resent the fact that the government insists on draining money from everything, everytime some brings up legalizing prostitution "with tax" I want to scream.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas disputes this claim, once again showing why film is a liar's medium.

This study does not surprise me at all. That is all. Thank you. Tongue

Actually, a codicil is that if your body has little or no tolerance to THC, and you ingest a very heavily laced brownie or something, then yes, driving would not be a very good idea. Don't do it!

You forgot one(but they are a minority, 1-3% of those opposing legalization)
- people who quit marijuana for a very lucrative career

Those people still have no valid reason for opposing it.
They don't but the social pressures make them adopt that view pretty often.

Anyone who's ever used pot should realize that this is self-evident.
