I took it a million years ago as a Jr in HS and got a 27.  I didn't spend the night before it playing Stargate Defender though.

+3 internet points to whoever gets the reference

Don't take this the wrong way but why should I or anyone else take this thread or sat thread any more seriously than a thread on genitalia sizes?

Don't take this the wrong way but...people in the 14-18 age group care about these threads since it relates to us Wink

English: 32
Math: 27
Reading: 32
Science: 27

Anyone else here take the ACT? The SAT thread seems to have blown up.

I have not taken any of these, but I did get a solid 3.0 on my report card...if that goes in this thread.

I've never taken it. It's not that popular on the West Coast. We prefer the test that tries to screw you the SAT. A guy a few grades ahead of me took it, and improved greatly compared to his SAT. His SAT was a 1980 or something, while his ACT was a 34.

Colorado colleges use the ACT without writing, which is stupid because every Junior has to take the ACT without writing without even being offered with writing (I'd be fine with chipping in the money to pay for it myself) for east coast colleges. Instead it is a waste of a test, besides practice.

Composite 31
English 29
-10 Writing Essay (slightly amazing considering I wrote about eharmony...lol)
Math 34
Reading 34 (miss one question and you're docked two points, how rude Tongue )
Science 28

I had to take a state mandated (non writing test) a week later, and felt extremely good about English, so hopefully that will come out in the high 30s. But I just plane suck at the science portion and this is going to hold my composite score down for both tests. agh

Well my test I did paid for by the state a week later came out way different.

Composite 34
English 33
Math 35
Reading 36
Science 31

I know the east coast schools ask you to take the test with writing (and require you to release all our reports), but will they takes these scores and then my writing score from a separate test? Or will they only look at any scores I get when I take the test with writing?
