Then I withdraw the amendment, and will reintroduce it when we have a finished copy.

Yea, how much longer will that be taken, by the way Ben? Tongue

For god sakes don't show me another amendment right now. Get the current text finished.

Since most of the crap I just had to add was Ben's and Ben has just showed me another amendment at a time when I am not in the mood to see such with regards to this bill, Ben has just volunteered to finish the current text as presently constituted. You have 24 hours. Tongue The scrolling issue and the slow navigation between pages is making it pure murder for me to continue.

I will also require that all subsequent amendments alter the entire text, since changes at the top impact the totals at the bottom. All future amendments after Seatown's two yet unconsidered amendments shall be required to be in the above stated format and failure to comply will result in my sh**t canning them under Article 4, Section 2, Clause 1 of the OSPR.

Hold on, you say you already included your latest amendment in the text? The purpose was to create a clean text of the current bill so that we can see where it stands now and how to apply Seatown's should they be passed or failed.

Then you can copy and past that text, modify it to reflect your amendment and then specify that you are offering it as an amendment.

Not in the calculations, no.  I wasn't clear.  The calculations do not include my Amendment.

Can you please post a version that doesn't include your amendment at all and label it "Current Final Text" in the Quote Bracket

Then take what you just posted, alter all the totals to reflect the amendment and label it "Amendment Offered" in the Quote Bracket.

Can we increase the health spending at least back by half of what was cut? Do you guys really think that a 20-25% cut to healthcare spending will go over well?

This reflects a previous cut, it isnt a new adjustment.

Why don't we pass the amendent proposed with a top rate of 50% and rate cuts for lower income people as well? And add in some payroll tax cuts on top of that? We would need to see how much we could cut while still maintaining a surplus.

Is that $117 billion how much the amendment adds to revenue after considering the net affect of the changes within the amendment?
