Tomorrow is June 1.  Are we starting to get to the point in the campaign that changes from this point forward will have little to no impact on the outcome of the election?  For example, with the economy.  Even if the jobs reports somehow improve over the next several months, are we getting to the point now where it will too little too late for it to affect the campaign in one way or the other.  Now, obviously this excludes major events such as declaring war in Syria or some other major event.  But, what I'm trying to say is that are getting to the point in the early stages of June that anything minor from here on is too little, too late?

If not, when do we reach that point?

We reach that point when the votes are counted. It's pointless to speculate otherwise. The American electorate is extremely volatile and willing to change its (poorly informed) opinion quickly based on whatever gets turned into a political issue.

No one is even paying attention to the campaign at the moment, and they won't begin to until September.
