...What percentage would they have received?  Assume they just filed in WV and ran no real national campaign, and all preceding events were the same but for a different name being on the WV ballot.

Hillary Clinton (not the real one, just some random woman named Hillary Clinton)

Bill Clinton (see above)

Robert Byrd (ditto, for obvious reasons)

John Edwards

Zell Miller

Dennis Kucinich

Ed Koch

Anthony Weiner

Harold Ford

Al Sharpton

Kim Kardashian

Scott Peterson

Mumia Abu-Jamal

Rod Blagojevich

Casey Anthony

Charles Manson

Donald Trump

Hillary Clinton (not the real one, just some random woman named Hillary Clinton) - 45%

Bill Clinton (see above) - 50%

Robert Byrd (ditto, for obvious reasons) - 60%

John Edwards - 25% (many WV Democrats are socially conservative, after all)

Zell Miller - 50%

Dennis Kucinich - 30%

Ed Koch - 35%

Anthony Weiner - 20% (see Edwards)

Harold Ford - 40%

Al Sharpton - 20%

Kim Kardashian -30%

Scott Peterson - 35%

Mumia Abu-Jamal - 20%

You think Zell Miller has that much name recognition in WV?

Also, I'll add Rod Blagojevich, Casey Anthony, Charles Manson, and Donald Trump to the list.  Tongue

Well I'm assuming that he runs a high(ish)-profile campaign in which he reminds the Democrats of WV of his 'maverick' past.

Hmm, I guess some random guy named Robert Byrd would have probably won. I think the others would all lose.

Mumia Abu Jamal and Al Sharpton would get less than 10% if they had file in the WV primary.
