Indirectly it would obviously be the one mentioned in my display name, even if he wasn't the one who did the classic line.

Directly from him, this one is very recent but very much stands out:

Literal interpretation is still a form of interpretation...

Jesus:  Yo, Nathan, buddy, please pass me the salt.

Nathan:  Here you go, my Lord, here's pepper.

Jesus:  Nathan, remember how I promised to throw you in the lake of fire last?

Nathan:  Yes, my Lord, you did.

Jesus:  You misinterpreted, for the First shall be Last, and the Last shall be First!

I actually loved that, even though he was insulting me, since he implied that he thought of Jesus as Arnold Schwarzenegger (or John Matrix, which is to say the same thing). His very recent takedown of Bushie was also pretty great.

The night he broke the news of McCain picking Palin to be his running mate.

^^^That was pretty epic. He did it by looking at flight records and seeing one from Alaska to wherever the announcement rally was, if I remember right.

Him alerting the mods on Derek was great too. A shame the mods were so ungrateful.

Yes, there was a private flight booked from Alaska to Arizona (McCain's home state and campaign base), which was then going to fly to Dayton, Ohio where the announcement was being made.  jmfcst insisted that it must be Palin, and that McCain must be picking her, but everyone else was skeptical.

So can we unban him for Romney-announces-his-running-mate-week?

I feel very behind the times...was jmf banned? Why? Why isn't there a thread about it here or on The Atlas subboard? Can we start a petition to bring him back?

In order: yes, he was banned, because he hit 100 death points. There is a thread about it here ("We have lost a true Atlas legend") and a couple in The Atlas. Not sure about the petition.

We weren't ungrateful.  I was just annoyed that he wanted us to ban him simply on his word that there were similarities without trying to give evidence of those similarities.  That seems like something the anti-ban people should've been happy about.

You've been here like a week, no need to get all nostalgic.

I've been here a couple months, he's been here 4, but I have the higher postcount, so I'm not sure who that was aimed at...

How does banning him mean I'm ungrateful?  Doing a good deed doesn't mean you get a free pass forever...

jmfcst's Palin discussion in this thread is fun in retrospect:

https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=81459.0

Sarah Palin is no Dan Quayle, and the American public would welcome her personality and character.

She is more articulate than McCain, Biden, or Obama.  She is in complete command of her subjects and she connects well with her audience.

some Old Forum jmf moments.

first traceable post, asking for videocassettes of election night footage:
http://www.uselectionatlas.org/cgi-sys/cgiwrap/leip/ikonboard//topic.cgi?forum=9&topic=20

putting GWB's re-election chances at 20% despite approval ratings in the 70s, in mid-2002:
http://www.uselectionatlas.org/cgi-sys/cgiwrap/leip/ikonboard//topic.cgi?forum=11&topic=6

protesting the discussion of international elections by posting an article on the Dallas Cowboys running back situation (third post down):
http://www.uselectionatlas.org/cgi-sys/cgiwrap/leip/ikonboard//topic.cgi?forum=13&topic=84

going back through some of these brings out a lot of the emotions -- I do hope that he, much like Christ, will return.

And I'm assuming he had a big stiffy when he did that, since his lust/love for Palin was over-the-top.
