If there is a 2-2 tie on Monday along with Italy winning, this really is 2004 all over again.

Shouldn't Russia be advancing with a better goal difference?

UEFA has silly/different rules than FIFA.

Ah I see. I did hear that they are now using the head-to-head match ups now then the goal difference. I was confused at first but I guess it helps add a thrill to the game

Head to head makes more sense than goal difference.

Head to head makes more sense than goal difference.

If there are two teams involved, yes, but not three. As the Spain-Croatia-Italy example demonstrates.

LOL

This Group was very entertaining. I'm very happy that the Czechs (I don't expect it) are in the quarterfinal and the Russian team are all loosers Grin

Yeah, I remember a few people around here saying they were a joke team. I always thought they were being underestimated.

In the twelve years Morten Olsen has been coaching the Danish national team, Denmark has never lost to Germany.
Is that record going to be broken tomorrow?
