Franzl, how is the last round working ?

Do I get 1, 2 or 3 points + the 15 points for the bonus if Spain wins ?

Or only the 15 bonus points ?

Yeah, looks like everyone else picked Germany, so no points for them.

They can still pick Spain or Italy, but that's only 3 points.

That leaves Phil (with Italy) and me (with Spain) and 15 points.

Earl can only get a maximum of 33 anymore.

I didn't expect that I could win this when I started (I even missed the opening match and predicted most of the early games wrong ... Tongue)

Well, 2 points today and if Spain wins this I could potentially end up at about the middle of the table.

At this point, I think Italy will win, but I wont win the pool if I pick Italy, so I will say Spain wins on penalties (1-1 draw)

Obviously. However, it doesn't matter. If Spain wins, you've won the competition. If Italy wins, Phil has won the competition.

I think next time we should either lower the amount you get for overall winner or increase the amount you get for individual matches (e.g. 6,4,2) so it makes the final more interesting.

I agree. I, for some reason, expected somewhat higher scores from the matches. It wasn't realistic, though. But you can still see who would have won without the bonus.
