How does everyone see this one going? Jindal is term-limited, so the GOP primary consists of Dardenne, Kennedy and quite potentially Sen. Birt... I mean, Vitter.  Dems have businessman John Georges (who got trounced in '07) or NOLA Mayor Mitch Landrieu.

I doubt Mitch Landrieu would run for Gov. Vitter should have it if he wants it.

Pukeworthy if he gets the nomination. Personally I'd prefer JNK.

Its the jungle primary, so he has to do is get in the top 2. Which, I guess is even more pukeworthy.

Predicting Mitch vs Jay second round.

Also, no way Vitter leaves that Senate seat- it's his for life.

I think that if Mary Landrieu retires, she could have a chance, a small one though.

He probably won't move up in the leadership because of his affair though.

Plus his Birtherism. On that alone he should be kept out of the governorship at all costs. How strong is Vitter's organization, if any? I know there's no love lost between he and Jindal.
