It seems rather blasphemous, but of course this practice is not specifically condemned by the scripture.

There are situations in which it wouldn't be blasphemous, like if it was some sort of brony church (or, more seriously, some sort of weird mass of thanksgiving in an equestrian civilization).

It seems vaguely idolatrous, if nothing else.
