Okay, maybe Mike Johnson is a competent parliamentarian.

Are the people of Colorado Springs looking for a free market solution to this, rather than relying on the socialism of having fire departments?

I admit to having a sense of humor sick enough to have chuckled, but the better angels of my nature don't think this is called for.

Seriously, though, how are firefighting efforts out there going? I take it not well, if they're looking at an evacuation.

I imagine FEMA conceivably might, but I don't know that this is within their usual remit.

Oh God. That's awful. I hope the evacuation is as orderly as it can be under these circumstances.
