Personally I liked it, although while I did read the books & It really that wasn't up close to it. So what did you guys think?

In general I actually think the movies do a lot better job representing the world and the characters of that series than the books do. Katniss is an unfortunately dull narrator and the first-person-present-tense style of the books only really does action scenes particularly well.

I was really happy about the movie's performance, with the exception of two scenes, the gale and katniss conversation before she left on the victors tour, and when they find out how to get water from the trees, those were a bit too rushed.
