No, Germany and Sweden will win the C Group.

Even though we play better than in previous years, we won't be at the 2014 World Cup.

Okay, I'll say it, we haven't been this good since, like, Mexico '84.

I at the very least like your chances of getting out of the group as runners up. Winning it is a strong possibility, too. Congrats.

Friendly action returns tomorrow! Of course, the biggest match is Italy vs. France. We should be able to school the swines (like usual).

Just catching the Italy-France match.

Before what I just saw I was thinking that, if Italy and France plays like it played in the Euro, I would be glad to see Italy...

SLAP!

...our band of annoying spoiled kids.

But hey apparently France doesn't play so bad, and Valbuena's goal was beautiful enough. Benzema isn't here apparently, might help.

And Italy continues to play well too. El-Shaarawy, Balotelli, is that this so unusual exoticism in Italy's team which is changing their game?? Grin

Gosh, we are even leading now, what the hell is happening...

The Italian defense has been atrocious today. Valbuena danced around them to score a great goal. This will be a very sad loss. Sad

...even the French commentators spoke about it and lol:

Zlatan Ibrahimovich vs England: 4-2

In fact, when Q$G bought it, they bought a whole team, would explain the price.

The Italian defense has been atrocious today. Valbuena danced around them to score a great goal. This will be a very sad loss. Sad

Well, it's a luck that France didn't take a goal for 20 mins!

Sad

Oh well. Our next match (as far as I'm aware) is against my second least favorite team (The Netherlands). Hoping for a much better result though we looked strong today (back line aside).

Oh England. Won't qualify for the World Cup in soccer, looking like a possible third-tier qualifier for the RWC, and destined for more irrelevancy in Netball.

At least you still have Cricket, right?

Take that England. Wink

Funny aside, Norwegian coach commented that the 4-2 goal was, quote, not difficult. Gotta love the Scandinavian rivalries. Tongue

Related to the World Cup...

Raymond Domenech (Piece of Garbage - France) is releasing his autobiography! Everyone be sure to add this to your Christmas list. The chapters about 2006 and 2010 are sure to be goldmine material. Smiley

The very opposite of qualifying news since Brazil is already qualified but Big Phil Scolari reportedly returning as Brazil's coach.

Another non-World Cup topic but sort of related: the draw for the 2013 Confederations Cup is tomorrow. Since Brazil is hosting, they are automatically in A1. As the top seed, Spain is automatically in B1. Because teams from the same confederation cannot be in the same group, Italy will be in Group A (spot to be determined) and Uruguay will be in Group B (spot to be determined).

The other qualified teams: Mexico, Japan and Tahiti. The African confederation gets a spot but the team representing the continent won't be decided until early 2013 after the Cup of Nations tournament.
