Yes, I think him being a sock is a reasonable hypothesis.

He's obviously a fake, but as a left-wing hack in good standing here I take umbrage at the idea that he's been created by a reputable poster. He could just as easily be a random person who decided it would be fun to join as a weak parody of a right-winger.

I never said it was made by a reputable poster but, for the record, JS was very reputable.
