I've set off fireworks a couple times over the past twenty years just to rebel but I did not do so last night (although others in my party did). People in Illinois who live near the Indiana border go there to buy them; the approach to Indiana via Highway 80 is peppered with billboards advertising fireworks stores located near the border.
