Gotta love how backwards and reactionary this state's politics tend to be.

I'm not sure what's sadder:  How the Republican Party dupes legions of fundies into voting against their own self-interest with this pipe dream of banning abortion, or that Democratic Parties in Mississippi and meekly join with them and don't even try to put up a fight on abortion or any other issue...

Remember that Amendment 26 garbage?  Not a single prominent Democrat in Mississippi opposed it (it failed 60-40).
