Vosem, maybe liberal internationalist - using "liberal" in a worldly sense - would be applicable to you?

Otherwise you might reason that interventionism is acceptable as a libertarian so as to shift other nations into the libertarian paradigm. Or if you are interventionist for the sake of national self-interest, you simply apply libertarian thinking to people of your nation but not to your decision-making as it pertains to the peoples of others - who are arguably not your responsibility to protect the rights and liberties of? I see this all as being open to interpretation.

I would describe my ideology basically the same way Vosem does, socially libertarian & economically right-wing with an interventionist foreign policy.

Communitarianism, of a technocratic and humanitarian variety.

A liberal conservative: a person whose standards are for organic change, and believes that human institutions exist out of years of human experience. Think Edmund Burke or F.A. Hayek.

Moderate anti-capitalist, more specifically democratic socialist but I also hold some anarcho-syndicalist views.

Not really. Leftist social policies, right-wing economic policies, and an interventionist foreign policy. In America, when the first two are combined, we call that 'libertarian'. However, this usually comes with isolationism, so it's necessary to point out I am specifically an interventionist libertarian.

Unless you have a better idea?

Libertarianism was an ideology founded on the principles of fiscal conservatism and social liberalism, yes, but a core component of libertarianism is non-interventionism, or isolationism. You cannot be a libertarian without support a non-interventionist foreign policy. That's like saying "i'm a pacifist, but i'll still fight someone if need be." No, that makes you a militarist. You cannot be a militarist libertarian, it's a contradiction of the ideology.

Anti-reactionary, basically.

Progressive regionalist green social liberal; in shorter terms, pure elitist boboism at its finest.

The thing is that in America liberal implies economic leftism, so I don't think that can work either.

As for the reason for my interventionism, it consists mostly of national interest, yes. I supported the invasion of Iraq, for instance.

The mistake you made is giving shit about the subtleties of this crap. If we're gonna be absolutist, the only true "conservative" is a caveman. So let's stop this and examine what he meant by that: a relatively hands-off domestic policy coupled with a belief in a strong and potentially active (if he views it as necessary) national defense. There we go.

I'm a Socialist. No need to dress it up by saying "Social Democrat" or "Democratic Socialist" or whatever other BS people tie onto the term to make themselves seem more nuanced. I'm just a boring, boring Socialist.

Blue-green socialist. Cutesy, I know, but all of the other terms that could possibly be both applicable and specific have unfortunate associations ('unfortunate' here ranging from 'Bob Katter' to 'Pol Pot').

I vote Libertarian, but I'm clearly not that as I support stopping genocides and other over the top sh**tty behavior outside the borders of my own nation.  I support free trade, but don't think we should trade at all with nations that treat people or the environment like sh**t.  I generally don't like the tactics of the environmentalists, but think we should punish the hell out of people that treat it like sh**t.  I'm for a strong police, military, courts and think the people that make up those things should be held to a higher standard thus they should suffer much harsher penalties when they abuse the trust of the people.

Basically, I think everybody should be allowed to do what they want, how they want, when they want....unless it harms others, then the hammer should be dropped on them.  Hard.  I don't know what that makes me.
