1896: William Jennings Bryan (no question)
1900: Either Bryan or Eugene V. Debs.  It would help me to decide if I could find a tape or recording of Debs speaking.
1904: Leaning towards Roosevelt, but again, I can't make the call without a tape of Debs's voice.
1908: See 1900
1912: See 1904.
1916: Can't say.  Leaning towards Wilson, but I can't find any audio of Hughes speaking at all.
1920: Again, can't say.  Can't find any recordings of Cox's voice.
1924: Robert La Follette.
1928: Norman Thomas
1932: FDR
1936: FDR
1940: FDR
1944: FDR
1948: Truman
1952: Stevenson
1956: Stevenson
1960: JFK (I'm starting to see a pattern here)
1964: Barry Goldwater (Nevermind)
1968: Humphrey.
1972: McGovern
1976: Ford (both were incredibly boring)
1980: Reagan
1984: Reagan
1988: Dukakis
1992: Clinton
1996: Clinton
2000: Al Gore
2004: Bush (the fact that he was better than Kerry says almost nothing).
2008: Obama
2012: Obama
