we get it... that the world is not, as is, redeemable.  the need for unitary catastrophe is a human need, maybe it won't happen like that, no.  but we understand that this world is not worth the species-struggle, and the earnest Calvinists 'get it' too, only they defer their dreams unto the next world, whilst we renounce them.
