Raul is too interesting for me to join the bandwagon.
By thinking about Cuba, I've thought about Venezuela and, hence, to this question: why Putin is on the list and not Chavez ?
After all, they are both authoritarian guys who submit to "elections".

Anyway, as I can't vote for Chavez Grin
my vote goes to the one who bores me even more than Lukashenka:

Putin

Putin

1. Chavez accepts that the opposition controls the vast majority of the Venezuelan media. Putins doesnt accept a free press.

2. The elections in Venezuela are fairly free according to neutral observers.

Chavez is many things, but not a tyrant. Certainly not comparable to Putin. The opposition is actually quite strong (and often rather violent) in Venezuela.
