That's about right, not so shabby in the midwest, great in the west, and the East Coast would be hard to crack.

I would think Clinton would win in a landslide.

In a historical event, the Republican Party nominates its first African-American candidate Oldiesfreak, emphasizing the party's need to return to its historical roots as the party of Lincoln. Oldiesfreak enters the campaign with a comfortable lead over the Democratic nominee, Antonio V, who is perceived as a radical librul soshulist commie. However, a series of disparaging remarks by Oldiesfreak outrages the South, prompting the candidacy of a "Southern Pride" ticket. Oldies' support in the South completely collapses, and despite retaining a slight lead in many northern Dem States, he ends up third on Election Day.

Antonio V/Amy Klobuchar (D): 47.3%, 229 EV
Mike Beebe/Jeff Sessions (SP): 20.8%, 177 EV
Oldiesfreak/Sam Brownback (R): 31.9%, 132 EV

The election goes to the House, where the split is clear along partisan and geographic lines:

Antonio: 16
Oldies: 15
Beebe: 15
Tie: 4

After weeks of deadlock, a deal is reached between Southerners and Democrats (who control the Senate), and Beebe is elected President with Klobuchar as VP.

JerryArkensas/NHI: (R) 259 EV (48% PV)
Spenstar3D/Napoleon: (G) 233 EVs (42% PV)
Carterforsenate/IdahoBlueDog: (D) 46 EVs (10% PV)

A major split in the Democratic Party fractures the party in two, with many defects leaving for the Green Party, a charge led by Spenstar3D (G-NY). What we get is a three-way election between the Dems, Republicans, and Greens. Spenstar and Carter split the progressive vote, but while most of the vote goes to the Green Party due to a powerful ground game and campaign, Carter gets enough votes to bring the race to the house, which, obviously, chooses JerryArkensas. The Senate, operating on a Dem/Green coalition, is a bit more frantic over who to pick for VP. Spenstar and Carter agree to get the Senate to select Napoleon for VP over IdahoBlueDog. All the while, everyone's looking to see how things will go in the next Presidential race...

Governor TNF (D-Ky.) and Gov. Goldwater (R-Wash.) face off against one another in an election almost entirely defined by domestic issues, due to their similar foreign policy standpoints. This leads to the third party candidacy of Florida Democrat SJoyce, who runs as an independent in opposition to both candidates on drone policy and strides the center in economic policy.

In the end, Congressman SJoyce does well enough to force a tie in the electoral college and send the race to Congress. The Republican held House elects Goldwater President and selects TNF's running-mate, Hockeydude, as Vice President.

TNF (D-KY)- 411
Oldiesfreak1854 (R-MI)- 127
For much of the summer, TNF leads by a small margin, until my controversial comments about the South and TNF's status as a Southern moderate cost me several Southern states.  Only the most Republican-leaning states in the South go for me, but they become some of the closest states in the election.  The perception of TNF as a moderate gives him every state in the Northeast and Upper Midwest except Indiana (which I carry with a small majority), and nearly flips Arizona and Montana.

The election would end up being one of the most unique and historic elections of all time, with an African-American Republican ticket facing off against one of the most conservative Democratic tickets in all of history.

How did you end up running as a Democrat rather than running against me for the GOP nomination?

Gov. Oldies (R-Mich.) manages to convince the North and West that his opponent, Gov. TNF (D-Ky.) is a dastardly Southron socialist and also supporter of slavery, or something. Things get worse for the TNF campaign when Oldies conjures the ghost of Jefferson Davis to endorse him for the White House, though this, combine with Oldies' anti-Southern statements, delivers TNF the South by a resounding margin.

In the end, Governor Oldies wins in a 271-267 squeaker.

After a bumpy first term, President Oldies' (R-MI) embattled reelection campaign seemed doomed to fail as Independent Philadelphia Mayor FezzyFestoon surged on a platform of reform to take his place in a rematch against Former Governor TNF (D-KY), setting up a rehash of the familiar North-South narrative of the race four years prior. Angry conservatives are stuck without a candidate and make for a complicated election as a Democrat and an Independent fight to pick up the biggest pieces. TNF surges up into the Midwest as Fezzy makes huge inroads into the urban vote. Fezzy steals the big prizes of California and Florida, but can't make it over the top in Virginia, giving TNF the slim victory.

TNF (D-KY) - 276
FezzyFestoon (I-PA) - 262
