And on another note, whoever wrote this doesn't realize that it is illegal for a presidential candidate to promise cabinet appointments.

Joe Arpaio for Secretary of Homeland Security? LMAO. This was obviously written by a very conservative 13 year old with a budding interest in politics.
No, this was made by one of the old men from a Palm Beach area Republican club who pretend to be Tea Party. They throw around words like PATRIOT, and ALL AMERICAN, and FREEDOM a whole lot, but don't believe in any of it. Most of them are Vietnam draft dodgers to make it even better Tongue

The guy who wrote this forgot something: Rick Santorum for Secretary of Health & Human Services.

Also Torie, next time try using the 'Print Screen' key.  It'll save you a lot of trouble. Wink

Rick Santorum for Secretary of Health & Human Services.

That sounds really unhealthy...

Mac's don't have print screen (you press the command and number 4 keys), and the damn thing was too long to fit into one screen was the problem. So I copied and pasted it on a word document, and printed it out on three pages, and the images on Atlas are actually three different images. I am sure there is a better way, but hey olds and computers don't mix!   Sad

Isn't announcing your cabinet picks before the election has occurred illegal?

Brittain33, she's Secretary of the Treasury! But she claims that she was a tax lawyer (actually an internal IRS hack, but I digress). I note in passing that no words have ever passed her lips evidencing that she has taken a course in macroeconomics.  Tongue

That would be pretty funny..until I realise that's actually the case. ...sort of reminds me of that song "If the South would have won".

You have to have been out of active duty for 7 yrs to be eligible.

Because back when it was 10 years instead of 7 years, it kept Powell from being considered for SecDef in W's initial cabinet.

I'm amazed that there are those on the right who continue to lionize Sheriff Arapaio even after he jailed a man for holding a bible study.

I'm amazed that there are those on the right who continue to lionize Sheriff Arapaio even after he jailed a man for holding a bible study.

It was a zoning issue and Arapaio wasn't the one who ordered him jailed.  "Bible study" sounds like a nice cozy meeting with Salman and a few friends, but 80 is hardly a few.  Salman tried running a full-sized church out of a residential property with buildings on it that are not up to the code standards for those that regularly have as many people assembling there as he does with his church. He was repeatedly warned about this, and if he'd actually built a building suitable to hold services in, he wouldn't be in jail now. (Phoenix allows churches to be built anywhere, but they still have to follow the building codes any other business that had that many people meeting there at one time.) Salman seems to be one of those idiots who thinks because he's a preacher he's immune to civil law.  There are plenty of reasons to ding the Arapaio, but this ain't one of them.
