http://www.freep.com/article/20120801/NEWS15/120801073/nancy-cassis-kerry-bentivolio-poll-11th-congressional

didn't see this one listed, hope I did this right.

Cassis is running as a write in.

We have got over 10 pieces of mail from both campaigns, but mostly from Bentivolio. I saw 2 TV ads from the Bentivolio campaign.

we got one from Bentivolio titled "A tale of two Nancy's" comparing Nancy Cassis with Nancy Pelosi.

So, Bentivolio's campaign is more active than Cassis'. Considering that people will have to write-in her name, I guess Bentivolio will win the primary, then lose the GE.

Hopefully Cassis isn't as fortunate as Lisa Murkowski.

MI-11 is a rich Detroit suburb. It's about as likely to go Democratic as Seattle is to go Republican.

If democrats nominated someone like Bentivolio, Seattle could go republican.

Cassis has the Republican party behind her though. She apparently has been running Tv ads too, but I have not seen any. Of course I don't watch much TV. I think it will be quite close. If Bentivolio wins the primary he has a good shot at winning the seat. The district is at least lean Republican. The Democratic candidate is a nobody, Syed Taj, a Canton township trustee, one of four. Bentivolio is a bad candidate but so is the democratic one. McCotter was suppose to easily win this seat and the Democratic candidate was just a sacrificial lamb. Even if Bentivolio wins the seat he will be primaried by a republican in 2014, there are a few republican state senators in the district that would make decent candidates.
