This is very interesting, especially at the census block level. It's mainly a map of affluent partisan areas; but in a way, it's the difference between this and voting that is particularly interesting. It's very dramatic in a place like the north side of Milwaukee with poorer minority areas near to affluent liberal areas and very conservative suburbs, but even in a relatively homogeneous place like Madison the more blue-collar Dems on the north and east sides are noticeable for their relative lack of donations.
