pretty cool, but maybe not the perfect indicator of a region's voting patterns. Zoom in on Atlanta and check out Coweta county, south of dark blue Fulton county. There are more Democratic donations than Republican ones yet Coweta voted 70% for McCain. Clayton county, just south of Atlanta has more R donations, but in 2008 Obama got 80% of the vote. Weird.
