what the hell? I heard that Catholics were mostly Republican here and the Protestant vote was actually Democratic.

Of course Protestant is way too broad of a category, it should be seperated into mainline and evangelical, and I'm sure Kerry won mainline Protestants in Minnesota.

Interesting thread worth a bump.

In North Dakota, though, there were actually no Jewish respondents whatsoever.

Not suprising but I actually have known two Jews in ND (a kid in my 7th grade homeroom and one of my Spanish teachers)
