Truly shocking results there...

Though I didn't realize Jews were heavily Democratic in Michigan and Nevada.

The senator isn't really a good indicator of that - Feingold in WI is Jewish too (among others nationwide). However, there are some moderately Jewish areas in Southeast Michigan, such as West Bloomfield, where I was born. Most have moved out of Detroit by now - it's 85% black or Hispanic.
