Daily Kos/SEIU Weekly State of the Nation Poll

http://www.dailykos.com/weeklypolling/2012/8/9

Public Policy Polling, 1000 registered voters, MoE ±3.1%, August 9, 2012 - August 12, 2012.
If the candidates for President this fall were Democrat Barack Obama and Republican Mitt Romney, who would you vote for?

                        O       R      ?

Liberal            92      5      3
Moderate    58    30    12
Conservative    16    79      5

Mitt Romney has less-solid support from conservatives than President Obama has from liberals... and President Obama has a slight edge among moderates. President Obama has apparently been poaching more conservative support than Mitt Romney has poached from liberals.

That's nice, but it's more about liberal turnout.

The type of people you're thinking of don't typically identify as conservative to the best of my knowledge, but I could be wrong.

He's not wrong, a non-negligible amount of minorities identify as conservatives and Democrats; more so than whites.

It's amusing that the "radical left-winger" Obama is crushing the "moderate hero" Romney among moderate voters.
